1. Zombies climbing out of the Ground
2. Glow sticks on the front steps
Make your apartment steps glow in the dark with Green glow-in-the-dark paint! If you can’t find any glow in the dark liquid products, try hand painting your steps with water-based paints. Try either a slime green or a blood red colour. Be sure not to use anything slippery (like gel or oil-based products). Water-based paint will easily wash away.
3. Glove Candy Bags
Buy a box of clear/white medical gloves from your local drug store. Stuff them full of candy and tie off like a balloon. They’re really easy to make and you have pre-packed treats ready to ‘hand’ out to kids. Leave some open (untied) on the snacks table for people to help themselves! Decorate or customise the gloves with coloured pens, glitter or fake blood. This is a great idea for a medical horror themed halloween party.
4. Cheese and Meat Head
For those who are a whiz in the kitchen. Impress your guests with this cheese and bacon skull, or simplify it by placing bacon strips atop a plastic skull on your snacks table. Make helping yourself to snacks both fun and gruesome!
5. Witches legs
Cover mannequin legs with green and black witch tights to create this decoration. If you don’t have access to mannequin legs, this decoration is still really easy to create. Get some colourful tights and stuff them full of paper and use a knitting needle or chopstick inside to keep the legs straight.
Place some witchy looking shoes on the feet and put them in your planter pot on your front steps to greet your guests!
6. Window silhouettes
These are so easy to make with a large sheet of black paper. Simply draw a large silhouette and cut out around it. Stick the paper to the window frame and back the image with orange, yellow or green cellophane. It will look bright a vivid during the day, at backlit at night your image will glow. This is such an easy decoration to make and is a must have for halloween parties. What different shapes and images can you come up with?
Or you can also, of course, use some readymade window clings:
7. Scary Snowflakes

I love H’ween more than all the other holidays combined, save Thanksgiving. People think my everyday wear is some sort of costume, oddly enough. Local law enforcement prohibited me from wearint my everyday clothes within 250 yards of any public area. Go figure.

The glove candy bag is a good idea. Thanks. Another idea with surgical gloves is to put a glow stick into one, blow it up and seal it tight. Float a dozen of them in a pool for an eerie effect..
