Free Pirate Pumpkin Carving Pattern

Avast mateys! This pirate pumpkin will inject an unexpected fright into guests at your next party. If you loved our Pirate skull and crossbones pattern, you are going to love this free pirate pumpkin carving pattern as well!

How to:

Carve out the face in the usual manner using any of our pumpkin face stencils and add a ‘scar’ to it. Now, create a 3-D design by carving out the ears and then pressing the cutouts partially back into the pumpkin. See image below for a guide. Add a large gold-hoop earring for the final touch.

Complete with a pirate party hat and eye patch. We used the ones from a  kiddie sized pirate dress-up set.

Candle Free Lighting Idea

To add a spooky effect, turn the pirate pumpkin into a dramatic centerpiece with a little dry ice. Place some dry ice in a small dish inside the pumpkin and add a bit of water. Light the pumpkin with a light stick.
